people all around me
they never let me breathe
saying they can save me
if I become who they think I should be
Taking away my freedom
silencing my voice
telling me I can't make any simple choice
I want to scream
that I am me,
I'm not gonna live in their shadow
now I'm making a choice
to use my voice
and be no one but me
